French Commercial for Education

This is a French commercial for a private school for remedial classes. I think it’s very clever because they play on words and you start to think something then when you finish the sentence, it’s actually the opposite.

Quand un élève ne progresse pas, il doit abandonner les méthodes qui ne lui conviennent pas.

When a student can’t improve, he must give up the methods that don’t suit him.

Si un élève est en difficulté, la meilleure solution est de redoubler d’attention.

If a student has difficulties, the best solution is the repeat a grade. (‘redoubler’ means ‘repeat a grade’ but also ‘give more attention’).
