Lyon is one of the three biggest cities in France and it used to be one of the capitals of the Roman Empire. That’s why you can find a lot of Roman ruins. It’s now the so-called Capitale de la Gastronomie and many events take place all the year long. The city hosts the Light Festival each year and many music festivals.
